Regenerations

The shoes fit like gloves onto
tender hands that
caress midnight fears away Chaos and Matter, 1992

Chaos Mattered (update)

It is best to start at the start so it becomes mythology.

Atlas struggled in the fragile web that somehow held him fast
Flicked through options that ran down the glass

When he looked down there was no horizon

He spoke upon the naked doorstep
His breath like butterflies sheltered from the wind
on the path to Babylon

Bruised as they fell
nobody wanted to look.
Once diplomacy failed they wheeled in the shrink
his quivering eyes unfolded foggy megalomania.
He paused and turned was about to speak
right there at that site of mystery we felt uncovered.

Walk in the snow
Ride the horses

the breath of beginnings is slow
the start of the greatest storms ever start
during the gliding fall of a feather
